Lambe Lambe Theater, an animation (or miniature) theater, is based on the manipulation of objects, puppets, or dolls within a small scenic box. These “boxes” showcase mini theatrical performances in 3 minutes and tell stories through puppets, where all sound is perceived through headphones.

In Latin America, Lambe Lambe Theater was born in Brazil in 1989 with Denise Santos and Ismine Lima in the province of Bahia, Brazil. The name Lambe Lambe comes from the Brazilian photographer who works in public spaces.
