About me

Celeste Lozada is an artist from Córdoba, Argentina holding a university degree in theatre (+5, +1 undergraduate thesis + research distinction) and a degree in music teaching (+ choral singing and conducting concentration). She navigates with ease the fields of teaching, choral singing, theatre direction, and cultural management.

Since 1994, she has been teaching in marginalized and rural areas of Argentina as well as in the National University of Córdoba in both the School of Theatre (Sound and Vocal Design) and the School of Music (Musical Composition with New Technologies). Celeste has also offered informal training and coaching in comedy, vocal performance, and singing for both actors and non-actors.

From 2007 onward, she has conceived, performed in, and directed numerous independent plays in venues such as theatres, bars, social centers, and even a women’s prison, engaging diverse audiences across different socio-economic contexts. Her thesis “Sonamos” explores interpreting dramatic literary texts through vocal gestures.

Since 2018, she lives in Italy where she continues teaching music and theatre while singing in the Ruggero Giovanelli Choir from Velletri. In July 2023, she premiered her first Lambe Lambe puppet show titled “All you need is Love”, a production that explores human fragility and its significance on Earth, enabling Celeste to merge her artistic journey with the establishment of cultural connections within the community.

Finally, Celeste received a student scholarship from Argentina, the Córdoba City Award for best solo play direction, and founded the First Women in Comedy Festival in Córdoba city.
